easier to just buy or cook the syrup version.
oh and just so we know, Sambucus ebulus (dwarf elder, aka danewort) is a DIFFERENT, more toxic plant. that's the one carrying the ribosome-inactivating protein toxicity and the nephrotoxic extract warnings, not this one..
