Cloves contain eugenol, a compound with potent antibacterial and antifungal properties. This makes them effective in treating infections, such as gum disease, toothaches (because eugenol is numbing), and skin conditions.

btw, over 50% of all drugs are derived from plant chemicals. usually they isolate them and then synthesize them so they can patent them.

clove is antiviral, anti microbial, antibacterial, anti fungal, anti candida, and anti parasitic.
